NaNoWriMo 2015 – Day 16 progress
I seem to have lost a couple of days of posting. With my husband out of town, I’ve been a single parent for the past few days. A very BUSY single parent. I’ve kept up with my writing, but not with posting my progress.
Today I want to talk about how fun this experience has been so far. Even though I’m hitting the sagging middle, I’ve kept at it, making my daily writing goal more days than not. I’m over halfway through my book, and on track to finish it by November 30.
For the longest time I’ve only dreamed of writing a novel. Now I’m doing it. Taking action on this has been one of the most liberating experiences of my life. I’m able to identify my strengths and weaknesses in my writing, so I can take the appropriate action before the next one I write. Just knowing that I can put words to paper and make a somewhat coherent story is liberating.
Today the word count sits at 28,062. The pieces are in place for the big conflicts up ahead. The hero has crashed and broken both his arms, so the heroine is determined to take care of him. This brings them together, but will her past pull them apart again? Stay tuned as I continued to make this stuff up out of thin air!
